I love this dance. Flamenco is so passionate and powerful. I also love the music and the raw energy of this dance and music.

– A Dance of Passion and Fire

Immerse yourself in the raw energy and elegance of “Viva Flamenco”, a stunning 24×36″ oil painting that captures the soul of Spain’s most passionate dance. Bathed in the warm glow of stage lights, a flamenco couple ignites the canvas with movement, intensity, and drama.

The male dancer, poised and commanding, stands to the left, his arm raised in a powerful stance, exuding confidence and control. Opposite him, the female dancer swirls with breathtaking grace, her red skirt lifting mid-spin, embodying the spirit of flamenco—fierce, untamed, and mesmerizing. Her short-cut top reveals the curve of her midsection, accentuating the fluidity of her motion, while the deep red curtain backdrop heightens the theatrical allure.

Every brushstroke pulses with rhythm and emotion, the rich oil textures breathing life into the scene. This painting is not just an artwork—it’s a performance frozen in time, a celebration of passion, movement, and tradition.

Bring the fire of flamenco into your space with “Viva Flamenco”—where art and dance become one.

I’m no musician but music is one of my favorite things that I enjoy as much as painting and drawing. I always have music playing in my studio whenever I am painting, and that can be jazz, rock, classical, or Christian worship. Music is one of my muses, I always have a song or a tune in my mind. And another of my muses is the human form (can’t seem to get it out of my compositions).

So there is no surprise that I would create a painting that combines both, my love of music and my love of the human form.

This 16×20-inch oil painting on a wood panel captures an intimate fusion of body and melody. A nude figure tenderly embraces a bass guitar, her posture exuding vulnerability and connection—an emotional symphony painted with rich, expressive brushstrokes. The warmth of the wood panel enhances the organic textures, bringing depth and resonance to the piece.

A tribute to the soulful power of music and the raw beauty of human form, “Embracing the Lower Notes” invites the viewer into a world where sound and touch become one. It is perfect for art lovers, musicians, and collectors seeking a bold yet poetic statement piece.

Let this painting strike a chord in your space—where passion meets rhythm, and art sings.

Art has always been a mirror reflecting the depths of human emotion. In the realm of creative expression, painting stands as a powerful conduit for channeling emotions. As I delve into the cathartic world of artistry, I unravel the profound connection between the heart’s whispers and the strokes of a brush.

The canvas becomes a playground of emotions as warm colors dance in fiery passion and cool hues whisper serenity. Reds evoke intensity and love, while blues offer a tranquil escape.

Painting for me is more than just brush strokes on a canvas or a wood panel. In every stroke, lies a story. Ordinary individuals find solace and healing through artistic endeavors. What starts as a simple hobby blossoms into a therapeutic outlet, providing the emotional power that is accessible to everyone.

Creativity allows emotions to flow freely. Breaking free from artistic inhibition becomes the key to unlocking the true potential of emotional expression. In vulnerability, artists find strength, and in my art, I discover the beauty and the strength of emotions.

Hope you enjoy this art piece titled “Unentangled” Break free from all that ties you and hold you to be all that you are meant to be.

I love painting, when I get an idea for a painting I can hardly sustain the rush feeling of getting paint on canvas and make my idea a reality, but as much as I love to paint I really enjoy drawing.

I sketch every day, I carry a small sketchbook everywhere I go. For me, drawing and sketching are an essential part of being an artist. I believe drawing is fundamental for every painter as much as understanding values and color.

Sketching and drawing is my way to not only keep my skills up to-par but it helps me clear my mind, but it also helps me generate creative ideas. Most of my paintings ideas sometimes come when I just start doodling on a piece of paper any random thing, lines turn into shapes and shapes turn into shadows, and all of a sodden a possible concept turns out.

Some History First

The human figure has been the subject of drawings since prehistoric times, and nude figure is a tradition in Western art and has been used to express the ideal of male and female beauty and other human qualities. It was a central preoccupation of Ancient Greek art, and after a semi-dormant period in the Middle Ages returned to a central position in Western art with the Renaissance. Athletes, dancers, and warriors are depicted to express human energy and life, and nudes in various poses may express basic or complex emotions.

Why I do it

The nude figure is a challenge for me and I like challenges. Ever since my first live model class, I’ve been mesmerized by it. The curvature of the body, the volume, the complexity of the shapes, and the way the light hits the model is something that really captures me. I believe that if I can master the human figure I will be able to draw or paint any subject.

Heavenly Body

Heavenly Body is the title of this art piece, we are not just flesh and bone, we are also a spiritual being. Genesis 1:26 “Lets us make mankind in our image, in our likeness… Genesis 1:27 So God created mankind in His own image, in the image of God He created them…

When I paint or draw the human figure those two verses come to mind, and it makes me think and meditate. Of all God’s wonderful creation, the only thing created in His likeness is mankind, I find this pretty amazing and very special.

Heavenly Body is my expression of that special wonderful feeling, Ephesians 2:10 For we are God’s handiwork… The human figure is a beautiful amazing creation and it’s a great subject to paint. How simple and fragile we humans are and at the same time how complex the human body is. A heavenly body created by a heavenly being.

I love the beach and I love the Caribbean lifestyle maybe one day I will make that place my home.

My latest piece, Surf Shack this painting was inspired in one of my trips to Vieques Puerto Rico ( a small piece of paradise in the Caribbean). This is a 16 x20 canvas board painted with acrylics.

I don’t consider myself a landscape artist but when inspiration hits you it can come from any source, beauty is everywhere and it shows her self at any moment.

I hope you enjoy this piece as much as I enjoyed creating it.
Thank you for your support and God bless.
