Walking Between Two Worlds

The video “The Double Life of a Painter” mirrors my journey. I know what it is to walk that narrow bridge between obligation and vision. To set aside the work I long to do to keep the lights on—and yet, to always find my way back to the work that lights me from within.

Sometimes, I wish the two worlds could merge. Other times, I realize they already have, because even in errands and responsibilities, my mind is painting. My heart is sketching.
